V.Mitolo & Son Waveform Shiraz

Wines are produced using traditional methods passed down from one generation to the next, gently blended with the wine making techniques of the new world.

Beautifully ripe fruits on offer – spice, blackberries at the fore, complemented by dark chocolate, pepper, freshly ground coffee notes and toasty, nutty oak in the background.  The palate is full and the finish is long and smooth.

This wine was matured in American and French oak Hogsheads (25% New), for 19 months and was fermented on skins for 9 days then pressed into barrel to complete alcoholic and malolactic fermentations.

About The Truffleist

This is a perfect gift for the food lover in your life. Pair this South Australian Shiraz with a gift pack from The Truffleist. Enjoy a trio of truffle mustard, honey, & salt beautifully packed in an aesthetic wooden crate.

The Truffleist is a company based out of Long Island City, Queens that produces handcrafted, small-batch truffle products.  Many of the base ingredients are locally sourced from other small producers while our truffles are imported from countries such as Italy, France, and Spain. Supporting other companies based in NY state keeps our footprint low and our quality high while encouraging the growth of small business and entrepreneurship.

In November 2013, Jimmy Kunz began making his flagship truffle butter as a holiday gift for friends and family. The response was overwhelmingly positive and inspired him to create The Truffleist. Since starting his company he has added five additional truffle products to his line as well as creating a seasonal food popup, "Cheesesteaks by The Truffleist" in 2014.
